The global eCommerce US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. The Platform Campaign team is responsible for delivering platform-wide promotional campaigns (e.g. Summer Sale, Black Friday) for customers, sellers, and creators. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join us to build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users together.

Responsibilities
In this role, we are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, problem solver to:
- Lead the development and execution of advanced merchandising strategies to maximize sales, customer engagement, and brand loyalty on the platform, focusing on shoppable short videos and livestreams.
- Lead the initiative to drive seller registration for campaigns, developing and implementing strategies that encourage sellers to participate and list their products, including creating incentives, providing support and highlighting benefits of campaign participation.
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation in the social e-commerce landscape. Utilize insights to inform strategy planning and decision making.
- Oversee the criteria of product assortment, driving competitive pricing, and developing product tiering strategies for different traffic placements and promotions.
- Develop comprehensive guidelines and support material for sellers and category managers, outlining the registration process, timelines, and expectations for listings and promotions.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of registered products and seller-funded promotions within campaigns, using insights to refine strategies, improve seller participation rates, and increase campaign ROI.
- Drive performance analysis of all merchandising campaigns, utilizing advanced analytics to assess effectiveness and ROI. Implement continuous improvement strategies based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in merchandising for e-commerce
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing merchandising strategies that have driven significant sales growth and improved customer engagement in an e-commerce space.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid history of using data to inform decisions and drive measurable improvements in campaign performance.
- Familiarity with the social e-commerce landscape, including trends in shoppable content, short videos, livestreams, and influencer marketing.
- A passion for staying ahead of ecommerce trends, with a continuous learning mindset to apply the latest best practices and merchandising strategies.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and implementing innovative solutions to drive merchandising success.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Deep understanding of the social e-commerce landscape, including expertise in shoppable content, short videos, livestreams, and influencer marketing strategies.
- Direct experience in working with influencers and creators, understanding how to leverage these partnerships to drive e-commerce conversion/sales.
- Depth of knowledge in digital marketing tools with the ability to leverage technology to optimize campaign strategies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $143555 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
