MED (Merchant Ecosystem Development), are a team of 60 TikTok Shop frontliners who primarily handle various aspects of the Seller journey. This includes merchant Acquisition, Incubation, Education, Engagement, and also TikTok Shop Partners & Vendors (TSP) management. We work closely with Sellers and Merchants to help them onboard smoothly and improve their performance, then graduate to higher tiers within TTS. Our team also handles external speaking, training and engagement events, and works with the Government and other related corporations on all related partnerships, in order to build solid grassroot foundations for the local community, and maintain a healthy revenue inflow for our MY operations. This role will play a role in analysing data for operations improvement purposes, and contribute to business plans of the department. This includes but is not limited to supporting the setup and maintenance of tasks in our system, collaborating with the operations team to facilitate task setup for sellers; working closely with cross-functional teams where you will be required to gather, analyze, and interpret operational data, contributing insights to improve operations & business goals; prepare necessary reports, and assisting in the creation and maintenance of data visualizations and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret operational data for the purpose of improving operations, and business goals
- Support the setup and maintenance of tasks in the system & collaborate with the operations team to set up tasks in the system for sellers
- Contribute to the creation of operational reports & generating regular operational reports to support decision-making
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in creating and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Project Management Tools
- Proven experience in data analysis & using project management tools and languages (e.g. SQL, Monday, Trello)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis
