Team Introduction:
The goal of TikTok Search team is to offer our users the best user experience and increase user awareness of TikTok search. We are looking for talented Strategic Operations Intern to focus on global markets. You will work with global functional teams to explore and expand the boundaries of TikTok search.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

Job Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end content quality and user experience across search and recommendation features, including all search user acquisition channels on TikTok.
- Deeply understand user intent across various search scenarios; define high-quality experiences through data analysis, user insights, and continuous optimization using LLMs and content understanding strategies.
- Partner closely with algorithm engineers, product managers, and analytics teams to ensure healthy traffic growth and create standout user scenarios with strong brand perception.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong intuition for user needs and content quality, with the ability to abstract requirements and independently drive strategic planning.
- Background in content strategy, search/recommendation systems, visual search, or AI products is a strong plus.
- Sharp logical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above (computer science, information technology, data science, and other related majors are preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possess a strong sense of logic and creativity, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to improve
- Possess strong problem-solving and data-analysis abilities, as well as the ability to encourage product development based on data analysis
