Responsibilities:
- Work with cross functional leaders, including product managers, researchers, content designers, and engineers to contribute to high-level strategic decisions, envision and execute impactful product experiences globally
- Lead large scale projects from 0-1 and beyond, managing uncertainty and ambiguity, ensuring we're shipping meaningful and quality experiences
- Establish strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across functions, uplifting the voice of product design within the organization. Anticipate areas of opportunity or conflict and proactively manage them with articulate communication that helps others see a way forward
- Help scaling the design team and elevating design quality with a strong focus on craft
- Drive high quality design with articulate, well-delivered feedback that improves the teams' ideas and executions. Understand when to dive in deeply to quickly unblock teams and when to pull back.
- Foster a culture that allows designers to do their best work and lead by examples

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Experienced in delivering impactful work through design that has moved businesses forward
- Has experience collaborating with senior leadership to influence product strategy and product development processes to set teams up for success
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and rationale to stakeholders at all levels and across time zones
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity with a bias towards action with the ability to adapt to changing, fast-paced environment
- A passion and enthusiasm for TikTok and its community, especially building for creators
- Portfolio is required

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $172000 - $337500 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.

Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
