The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

As a Risk Analyst in Trust & Safety, you will become our eyes and ears, researching and analyzing trends, industry changes, and public sentiment that could impact our products. You will be an influential voice, providing insights into public opinion and policy development to further enhance users' trust and safety.

Responsibilities
- You will evaluate public perception towards company products and analyze regulatory information including but not limited to legislation and law enforcement for cybersecurity, data privacy, and social media regulations in Southeast Asia
- You'll produce internal reports on public perception and policy development routinely
- You'll collaborate with key stakeholders on various public perception and policy-related projects

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- You have experience working in policy, journalism, politics, economics, political science, diplomacy, risk management, or related fields with experience with technology, media, or online business preferred
- You're comfortable analyzing large sets of data, using data to illustrate your points
- You are strong in open-source research, and in summarising information succinctly for stakeholders
- You have a passion for online safety and internet issues
- You are proficient in English and Tagalog/Vietnamese/Khmer as you will predominantly be covering the Philippines/Vietnam/Cambodia markets and will need to understand Tagalog/Vietnamese/Khmer.

Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate student with an educational concentration in Political Science, Journalism, Public Policy, Economics, International Relations, or a related field
- Great communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Being able to deliver work quickly with high quality
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
