About the team:
The Global Business Marketing LATAM team is dedicated to positioning TikTok for Business as a key player in the digital marketing ecosystem across Latin America. The team focuses on driving brand visibility, relevance, and commercial impact among advertisers, agencies, and industry leaders. As part of this mission, we are looking for a senior-level Research, Insights & Data Lead to elevate how TikTok captures, analyzes, and communicates strategic insights in Spanish-speaking LATAM markets (e.g., Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Produce and guide the production of analyses that combine 1st-party and 3rd-party data.
- Lead the development of insight strategies to support business narratives, go-to-market positioning, and client-facing materials across Spanish-speaking LATAM.

- Manage end-to-end 3rd party research initiatives: from vendor selection and brief development to methodology validation, execution oversight, and results activation.
- Own and interpret 1st party data from internal tools and dashboards to extract clear, actionable insights for external and internal stakeholders.
- Translate data and research findings into compelling narratives that support marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and regional tentpole initiatives.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Sales, Comms, Creative, etc.) to ensure insights are integrated into strategic initiatives.
- Represent the region in global research and insights forums, ensuring local market needs and realities are reflected in global studies and tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment across all published outputs.
- Stay up to date on market trends, consumer behavior, and digital/media industry benchmarks relevant to Spanish LATAM.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Years of experience in market research, data analytics, or strategic insights roles, preferably in media, tech, or marketing-related industries.
- Demonstrated experience managing external research vendors and methodologies (quantitative and qualitative such as, in depth interviews, focus groups, co-creations, etc.).
- Strong understanding of 1st party data, internal dashboards, and analytics tools; ability to translate raw data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-in Spanish and English.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and present to senior leadership or clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B marketing, particularly in digital advertising or platform ecosystems.
- Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Tableau, or internal BI systems.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect data to commercial strategy.
- A pragmatic and collaborative working style, with the ability to adapt to a fast-moving and constantly evolving environment.
- Passion for storytelling through data and the ability to translate complexity into simplicity.
