Responsibilities
About the Team :
Development of strategic direction and plans: The Industry Lead is responsible for creating strategic direction and plans for assigned verticals, leveraging deep industry knowledge to guide the team in executing these plans effectively.
Driving revenue growth and competitive positioning: The role involves defining market strategies and business objectives aimed at driving revenue growth and enhancing the competitive position of the company.
Leadership in client engagement and sales effectiveness: The Industry Lead will lead consultative account planning initiatives to enhance client engagement, growth, and sales effectiveness, working hands-on with the team in pitch creation and opportunity scoping.
- Foster, maintain and grow strong connections within Media, Entertainment, Telecommunication, Tech Services industries
- Through deep knowledge and insight into above-mentioned industries, develop strategic direction and plans for assigned vertical and guide the team to execute on plans
- Define market strategies and business objectives to drive revenue growth and improve competitive position
- Lead consultative account planning initiatives to drive client engagement, growth, and sales effectiveness
- Work hands-on with the team in pitch creation and opportunity scoping
- Provide regular sales coaching, as well as career development for the team
- Manage and develop a team of Client Partners to achieve (and exceed) results against set targets
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Trade Marketing, Marketing Science and Sales Operations to realise strategic plans
- Own senior client relationships and establish yourself as a leader in the industry
- Take the initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Indicatively, the successful candidate has at least 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales experience, preferably within the Media, Entertainment, Telecommunication, Tech Servicesndustries
- Individually, the successful candidate has a minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience managing branding and performance advertisers with a deep understanding of their challenges
- Experience helping clients execute custom branded campaigns
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Ability to coach sales teams with proven success
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, a fast learner who has critical thinking
- Have a passion for TikTok
