Team Intro
Join our TikTok HR team as an HR Business Partner working with our U.S. Technology & Product Services teams. You will join a fast-growing company and help shape our TikTok people experience. This position will be responsible for employee relations matters, people manager advice and coaching, on/off-boarding, engagement programs, performance management approach, workforce planning, and recruitment support. You will help facilitate key employee life-cycle and operational activities in partnership with our business unit, HR, and center of excellence teams. To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Specifically, you will:
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders to translate business strategies and objectives into an HR roadmap; garner support and identity ownership for that roadmap.
- Coach leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession, organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.
- Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; execute a goal-setting agenda with 360 performance evaluations and oversee the formal performance review and calibrations process.
- Provide guidance and assist in the implementation of business restructures, workforce planning, and headcount modeling.
- Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning.
- Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures; partner with Employee Relations and Legal departments to support investigations, as needed.
- Leverage the COEs (HR Centers of Excellence) to develop and implement programs that foster employee engagement, D&I, and success.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, as a Generalist or Human Capital Consultant.
- 1+ years as an HR Business Partner.
- Proven ability to manage both strategic and tactical HR responsibilities, including performance management and employee relations.
- Strong experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience supporting Engineering, Research Development, Data Science, Risk & Response, and/or Product Policy organizational pillars.
- Experience developing, implementing, and analyzing HR transformation or organizational change initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (i.e. Tableau, Exel, Power BI) to extract insights and drive strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Experience developing, implementing, and analyzing HR transformation or organizational change initiatives.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $228000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
