TikTok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with creators & influencers, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe.
We are seeking a Content Strategist to support the growth of TikTok LIVE's gaming creator ecosystem through creator-facing content planning and traffic support. This role focuses on helping creators succeed by building scalable content formats, identifying high-impact content opportunities, and supporting targeted content visibility based on performance insights.
Responsibilities:
Content Demand & Supply Analysis
- Analyze creator content performance and viewer behavior to identify content gaps and supply-demand mismatches across game categories.

- Work closely with Algo PMs and analysts to translate insights into creator-facing content strategies.
- Monitor performance of managed creators to inform traffic support, visibility planning, and growth prioritization.
- Research platform and market trends to inform new opportunities for creators.
Creator-Focused Content Growth
- Plan and execute creator-centered content initiatives that support scalable growth and community engagement.
- Support adoption of platform features through content strategy and training guidance.
- Develop differentiated strategies for creators at various performance tiers to ensure appropriate guidance and support.
Content Format Execution & Optimization
- Launch and manage targeted content efforts tied to specific formats, game categories, or seasonal moments, ensuring timely execution and cross-functional alignment.
- Translate strategy into actionable creator-facing materials such as content guidelines, templates, and reference examples to drive format adoption and consistency.
- Coordinate creator participation, track rollout progress, and support localized adjustments based on performance trends and feedback.
- Capture key insights from each initiative and deliver clear, timely reports to iterate future content planning.
Content Quality & Platform Integrity
- Create and distribute content guidance to help creators elevate quality, viewer engagement, and compliance.
- Identify and spotlight top-performing creator content as examples for the broader community.
- Partner with moderation and policy teams to uphold content quality standards across LIVE Gaming.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, creator operations, or live/social platform programming.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using performance data to guide content decisions.
- Deep understanding of gaming creators, livestream formats, and viewer engagement drivers.
- Excellent cross-functional collaborator with a bias toward action and problem-solving.
- Highly organized, creator-focused, and detail-oriented.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $71000 - $122000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
