Team Introduction
Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports.
Position Summary:
TikTok Europe is seeking a FP&A Manager who will be a key contributor to TikTok's continued success in Europe. This role is based out of our Paris office. The new hire will play an integral role in assisting with the business decisions and will act as a strategic partner to the key business functions such as the France General Manager, Content Partnerships, Programming, Marketing, and Safety. The FP&A Manager will be joining a small hand-on team with great opportunities to grow and expand their role as the team grows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership: Offer strategic support and expert advice to senior finance managers, function heads, and regional business leaders, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
2. Financial Planning and Team Management: Lead teams in executing the Financial Planning process for key functions. This includes developing near-term and long-term budget plans, actively monitoring budget consumption, conducting comprehensive variance analyses, and regularly updating budgets and forecasts.
3. Financial Performance Analysis: Analyze the financial performance of the regional business and generate performance improvement proposals for the finance lead.
4. Operational Excellence: Take ownership of optimizing practices, policies, programs, procedures, and personnel activities to enhance efficiency, while effectively managing teams.
5. Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with various business units, providing insightful and high-quality financial advice to support company-wide decision-making.
6. Market Analysis and Business Intelligence: Conduct regular industry analysis and robust Business Intelligence research, demonstrating leadership in staying informed about industry trends.
Qualifications
- Professional Certification: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred but not essential.
- Experience: FP&A or equivalent work experience in the content, media, or tech industry, with a proven track record in complex financial planning and analysis.
- Data Proficiency: Ability to work effectively with large volumes of data, translating it into clear and actionable insights.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strong logical reasoning, and critical thinking abilities.
