Team Introduction:
Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports. This role will support the rapidly growing and high profile Global Functional teams including Legal, Public Policy, Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Support and Strategic Partnership: Serve as the Finance Point of Contact (POC) for local business teams and cross-functional partners worldwide. Act as a strategic partner to business and finance leadership, providing day-to-day operational support and insights.
- Financial Planning and Monitoring: Lead the financial planning process for key functions, including developing near and long-term budget plans at the project-level. Monitor budget implementation, execute month-end close responsibilities, and periodically update forecasts in collaboration with business teams.
- Process Optimization and Automation: Drive optimization of practices, policies, programs, and procedures within finance.
Continuously improve finance processes by spearheading efforts to simplify and automate reporting, such as implementing "self-serve" dashboards for business users.
- Financial Advisory and Reporting: Collaborate with business units to offer insightful and high-quality financial advice, supporting company decision-making. Prepare management reporting and deliver variance analysis presentations to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Ad Hoc Projects and Analysis: Conduct ad hoc projects and analyses to address specific business needs. Develop innovative reporting methodologies to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide support for industry analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.).
- Experience: Strong experience in Corporate Finance/FP&A or equivalent work experience.
- Soft Skills: Good written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated with critical thinking abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changes.
- Hard Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis. Basic to intermediate skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and G Suite.
Preferred:
- Education: An MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Experience in a high-growth technology company.
- Hard Skills: Experience with Tableau and Power BI is a plus.
