The GBS Analytics team partners with an array of cross-functional departments to provide bespoke analytics solutions to their needs, both internally and externally facing. Your work will play a guiding role in shaping decision-making around advertising strategy iteration and how we communicate this with our clients.

Role Overview
- This position will have a day-to-day focus on providing analytical and strategic guidance to TikTok's Ads Business with the primary objective of enabling Sales teams to make effective and data driven decisions
- The insight and analytics produced by this role will be shared with Sales and Product leadership to shape decision making and Advertiser Marketing Strategies on TikTok
- The role will interact and work with multiple cross-functional partners including GBS, Product, Marketing Science, Research & Insights and Strategy Teams
- This is an individual contributor position with high value impact to our business.

Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis using internal and external data (e.g. Customer, Revenue, Product, Market and Industry) to derive insights that will drive business decisions
- Develop deep understanding of TikToks Ads business, analysing business and product trends (incl. regional, channel and vertical performance), synthesise and communicate insights in a comprehensible way
- Identify opportunities throughout the marketing funnel to improve Advertiser acquisition, growth and retention opportunities and present recommendations to key decision makers
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, driving results through extracting actionable insights and building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
- Conceptualise, build, manage and maintain tools (incl. dashboards) that GBS teams can use to extract data and insights for daily business management in an automated manner

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience analysing and deriving meaning from unstructured datasets
- Experience using both qualitative analysis (e.g. Hypothesis testing) and quantitative analysis techniques (e.g. Descriptive analysis)
- Experience in database interrogation and analysis tools, such as Apache Hadoop, SQL and SAS
- Experience in Data Visualisation tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
- Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience driving and delivering action based on data-driven insights and recommendations from data analyses
- Experience with digital advertising or ads monetisation

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a tech or scaling business environment
- Experience in a professional sales environment
