Team Introduction
Global Revenue Management is part of the Bytedance Finance function that is responsible for revenue management and accounting for monetization of all Bytedance products via the following processes: running the Order to Cash ("OTC") cycle, assessing credit risk while establishing and integrating business-finance platforms together; to ensure accuracy in revenue accounting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize regional credit management strategy and goals for the Asia Pacific market.
- Demonstrate big picture thinking and capabilities to scale credit control work through constantly updating risk methodology and partnering with the system team for sustainable solutions.
- Assess client's new credit line applications and perform credit risk assessments in a timely manner.
- Perform ongoing credit line adjustment reviews and carry out credit lines decrease as needed.
- Proactively monitor and evaluate risk on an ongoing basis, anticipating and mitigating potential risks and escalating red flags to key stakeholders and collaborate to quickly address those risks.
- Manage key markets with credit line re-assessment according to peak seasonality cycle.
- Regular AR and Credit reporting to serve clients and business needs.
- Other credit-related tasks, such as methodology discussion within the global credit control team, cross-functional collaboration on collection matters, credit reporting as needed to serve clients and business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
- Working experience in corporate collection and credit risk management and familiarity with the digital advertising industry.
- Sound judgement in complex financial situations and sharp professional sense in identifying financial risks and non-compliance.
- Good analytical skills and logical thinking ability, great sense of responsibility, good work habits, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with high risk clients and advertising agencies would be preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
