Responsibilities

This position sits within the SMB Growth team, which is a mid-market sales team that is part of the broader SMB sales team. The focus of this team is to connect TikTok's vibrant and growing creators and users with the brands and businesses they know and love. The Brand Partnerships Manager position is directly responsible for building relationships and helping advertising clients drive business results on TikTok through consultation, education, and support.
We are searching for an advertising sales professional to enable Fortune 1000 marketers to exceed their potential through innovative growth strategies on TikTok. You will combine an exceptional ability to provide consultative selling; a passion for growing revenue; an outstanding ability to set strategic vision; and a willingness to execute the tactics. Success in this position requires strong sales (including prospecting new business), problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment. TikTok currently observes a hybrid working policy of 4 days in the office each week and 1 day working remotely. This position is full-time and based out of our Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue for TikTok Advertising by developing partnerships with healthcare agencies, pharmaceutical marketers, and direct clients in the health and wellness space.
- Ensure that clients navigate TikTok's ad ecosystem effectively while complying with industry regulations such as HIPAA, FDA, and FTC guidelines for health-related advertising.
- Use a consultative approach by offering strategic performance-driven and brand-building solutions tailored to the unique challenges of healthcare marketing, such as patient privacy, misinformation risks, and sensitive content policies.
- Develop compelling sales propositions using internal and external data, incorporating health industry trends and consumer insights related to wellness behaviors.
- Work cross-functionally with policy, legal, product, and operations teams to execute strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with health advertising standards.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, ensuring adherence to TikTok's health ad policies while maximizing campaign effectiveness.
- Create persuasive sales presentations featuring successful case studies from the healthcare and wellness space, demonstrating ROI for advertisers.
- Keep clients informed about TikTok's product developments, educating them on best practices for engaging health-conscious audiences and driving awareness for wellness solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in digital advertising sales.
- Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing.
- Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying.
- Proven performance winning the support of key stakeholders.
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of health and wellness marketing, including trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory considerations such as HIPAA, FDA, and FTC guidelines.
- Experience working with healthcare agencies, pharmaceutical brands, medical device companies, or digital health startups.
- Strong understanding of self-serve platforms, auction-based buying, and biddable media, particularly in the context of health advertising.
- Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and drive revenue growth within the regulated advertising space.
- Track record of exceeding sales goals and scaling client success.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing digital landscape while ensuring compliance with healthcare marketing standards.
- Strategic, creative thinker who can develop innovative ad solutions for healthcare and wellness brands.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills tailored to complex health topics.
- Passion for wellness, healthcare innovation, and leveraging TikTok to educate and empower consumers.
