Responsibilities
Review, improve, and monitor business processes that detect and prevent fraudulent activities in various scenarios including transactions, KYC, onboarding, and seller-creator affiliation.
Research fraud-related policies and build effective enforcement tools and processes to penalize bad actors and prevent risk while balancing user experiences.
Analyze patterns of fraudulent transactions and abusive conduct to identify vulnerabilities and protect the integrity of the platform.
Produce reports to summarize new trends and business impacts and present them to senior management teams.
Engage with various business, technology, and security/risk stakeholders to identify and solve risk problems at scale.
Collaborate with Legal, Public Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to investigate and respond to regulatory inquiries on fraud and/or abuse-related activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Digital Communications, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and 1 year of related work experience; OR, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Digital Communications, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Operations and investigations related to fraud, abuse, or cybercrime;
Developing internal investigation case management systems including the following components: allegation triage, root cause analysis, and/or remediation;
Reviewing legal and regulatory documents in cybersecurity or e-commerce space;
Developing fraud detection rules and models to increase detection rates, decrease false positive rates, and reduce fraud loss, while minimizing customer friction;
Conducting trend analyses of past incidents to detect and address emergent fraud methods; and
Designing and executing POC (Proof of Concept) use cases to evaluate different fraud systems and conduct system functionality, usability and performance testing, and implement systems in production.

Travel Requirement: Domestic and international travel required up to 10%

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $96886 - $160444 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
