Responsibilities
Research fraud-related policies and build effective enforcement tools and processes to penalize bad actors and prevent risk while balancing user experiences.
Conduct data analysis to develop, propose and launch rule and strategy changes to mitigate risks.
Actively analyze patterns and trends of fraudulent transactions and abusive conduct to protect the integrity of the platform by understanding gaps in coverage and helping to identify possible incidents before they occur.
Review escalated fraudulent cases and appeal cases.
Serve as a subject matter expert on anti-fraud operations' core functions, respond to inquiries, develop action plans to address issues, and assist with the preparation and dissemination of communications.
Produce high-quality fraud reports to summarize new trends and business impact and present reports to senior management teams.
Engage with various business, technology, and security/risk stakeholders to identify and solve risk problems at scale.
Collaborate with Legal, Public Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to investigate and respond to regulatory inquiries on fraud and/or abuse-related activities.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics (any), Cybersecurity, Management, Business Administration, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics (any),
Cybersecurity, Management, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Operations and investigations related to fraud, abuse, or cybercrime;
Developing fraud detection rules and models to increase detection rates, decrease false positive rates, and reduce fraud loss, while minimizing customer friction;
Conducting trend analyses of past incidents to detect and address emergent fraud methods;
Mining, preparing, cleansing, and analyzing structured data using statistical computing languages SQL, Python, or R for metrics creation, root cause analysis, and model preprocessing; and
Building and streamlining processes and workflows, tracking project status and milestones and coordinating cross-functional alignment to ensure timely execution of deliverables.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $180274 - $206172 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
