ADSEO Project Quality Assurance (Fixed-Term Contract)

Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
The Linguistic Intelligence team supports AI language model development with high-quality data annotations in collaboration with our vendor partners. By using our model, we automatically capture speech that violates the TikTok safety policy, and we ensure that TikTok's excellence shines in all languages and regions of the world.
Our growing team supports a number of different workflows ranging from speech to text annotation, language identification, translation, AI Chat Bots, and customer service models. As our workflow and project scope are constantly expanding, we are looking for a highly motivated PQA to drive deliverables through various steps in working with our internal team and vendor partners.
Content QA interacts with images, video and text related to every day life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
- Designing the onboarding process, training plans for project assigned, delivering process & policy training to both internal team members and BPOs.
- Coordinating and liaising with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that team members successfully meet strict training & production go-live dates.
- Responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer and retention among vendor and internal teams, whether during onboarding or live operations, to ensure that policy knowledge remains up to date at all times.
- Supporting the development and ownership of policy guidelines, ensuring that guidelines are clear, comprehensible, and up-to-date at all times.
- Designing the quality management strategy for assigned projects in line with project plan, to ensure robust quality mechanisms are in place to meet the goals of each stage throughout the project life cycle.
- Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects in collaboration with XFN stakeholders, including but not limited to project POCs, Vendor Management, Product teams & Programme Managers
- Monitoring queue data, recording daily output, and quality metrics to ensure that the project remains on track to meet key project deliverables.
- Responsible for fully managing the project's quality by conducting daily Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), deep dives, and quality trends analysis. Providing detailed RCA of errors and feedback to respective team members through calibration sessions, and recommending action plans to enhance quality scores and metrics.
- Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to address any system/platform issues and project bottlenecks, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Conducting risk assessments on key project deliverable metrics such as quality, output and timelines adherence to proactively identify potential risks to key deliverables before they occur.
- Supporting QA-related projects as necessary, such as process optimization, sampling plan development, appeal mechanism implementation, labeling policy optimization, and policy cascading process refinement.
- Please note that this position involves exposure to sensitive content, including but not limited to vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a Quality Assurance/Analyst/Project Management role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability to daily challenges and ambiguity.
- Strong attention to detail with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet-based applications is required.
- Fluency in English is required for communication with English markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Content Moderation/Content Quality/Content Safety/Labeling is advantageous.
- Experience in linguistics or language-based roles is desirable.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and other database languages preferred.
- Familiarity with AI projects such as AI Chat Bots, Automated Speech Recognition, AI Customer Service, and Translations is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
