As a Prototype Process Coordinator, you would be responsible for maintaining the Prototype Build warehouse & ordering and preparing parts for prototype builds. This will include programming prototype parts and releasing them to the Prototype Build shop to be made. This individual will work closely with designers, warehouse personnel, supervisors, prototype build, and prototype test personnel. He/she will also perform other duties as assigned.
What Will You Do?
Manage inventory in the Prototype Build Warehouse (including planning the timely disposal of surplus, obsolete and rejected material).
Plan prototype part orders utilizing SAP and cad related software.
Analyze production & prototype inventory information from a variety of sources

Create routings and orders for Prototype parts (fab, machine, weld, paint, contract).
Ensure delivery of components in support of Prototype build and rework.
Troubleshoots master data and/or material data issues.
Often works without direct supervision, using discretion and independent judgement in the decision-making process.
Maintain effective communication with all departments and customers to ensure information is shared in a timely manner.
Demonstrate self-sufficiency and initiative.
Provide training to new team members as needed.
Be cross trained in multiple department duties.
Work Environment:
Rapidly changing workloads and priorities, frequently dealing with multiple requests from a variety of people.
Regular, continuous use of a Personal Computer.
Office environment part of the time, plant environment part of the time. Plant environment includes variable heat and humidity, dirt, and noise; physical hazards such as powered vehicle, pedestrian traffic, sharp objects, moving machinery, and materials handling; hazardous materials such as fuels, oils, grease, and paint.
Typical 9-hour workdays, but can be less or more, with work on different shifts and weekends when necessary.
What Do You Need?
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
2+ years' experience working with SAP.
Proficient in personal computer application (Word, Excel, SAP, etc.).
Forklift driver's certification or the ability to obtain one.
Print reading skills or willingness to learn.
Warehouse experience is a plus.
Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills.
Demonstrate excellent communications skills (in person, by telephone, in writing, and virtually).
Work well with others in a rapidly changing, multiple-deadline environment.
Have a good work record of self-motivation, judgment, productivity, and safety.
Be willing to work overtime as needed.
Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range is between $20.39-$25.49. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
