Senior Supply Planner

Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for analyzing product demand. Plans the delivery of components to meet production or customer demand. Issue and maintain purchase orders for appropriate quantities. Communicate with suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery and cost requirements are being met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily replenishment by stock type and item category, manage purchase order release and execution.
  • Ensure that AB/LA lines are up to date, timely maintain adjustments on PO lines.
  • Prioritize PO and rescheduling according to different scenarios, closely work with suppliers for PO expediting.
  • Closely work with logistics team for tracking GIT.
  • Closely work with warehouse team if any GR issue.
  • Reserve inventory, adjust PO according to pre-order request.
  • Provide supply forecast to suppliers according to demand forecast and inventory status.
  • Regularly check lead time and delivery performance for each inter-company vendor.
  • Support commercial/OM to understand the supply status, complete judgement report as request.
  • Run the performance review process with factories/logistics to track the end to end PO.
  • Communicate with factories for their capacity and identify capacity constraints, predict recommend solutions and mitigation plans to remove bottlenecks.
  • Continuously improve the supply availability and reliability through substantial collaboration with demand planning and factory supply chain teams.
  • Continuously improve inventory structure, reduce E&O and excess stock.

Qualifications:

Knowledge or Experience:

  • At least 5 years of supply planning or purchasing relevant experience in MNC.
  • Office software
  • ERP & MRP system knowledge & Operation
  • Trade compliance and logistic knowledge
  • Practical process improvement or continues improvement relevant experience.
  • Fundamental financial awareness

Capability:

  • Oral & Written English
  • Have a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of SIOP
  • Excellent Communication skill
  • Strong logical thinking, good at data analysis
  • Good Influence with strong cross-function collaboration
  • Risk management capability
