How you will make an impact:

As Sr. HR Manager you will act as a trusted partner, coach, and change agent to the business teams in Tilburg, but open to expanding scope across the country. In today's market, an agile and forward-thinking people strategy is integral to short and long-term business success. To strengthen overall organisational capability, you will collaborate with business leaders to turn strategy into action, resolve talent gaps and seize opportunities that support our goals of hiring, engaging, developing, and retaining outstanding talent.

An important aspect of the position is to develop solid relationships across the organisation, to drive outcomes through collaboration, communication and resilience, - as is being resourceful in diagnosing and crafting solutions to people-related challenges. You will join the Country HR Leadership Team with peers as well as a recognised and valued member of the local Senior Leadership Team.

The position will also lead HR integration, harmonisation and process improvement projects, and support annual HR processes for the location in line with Country and Global HR Strategy. On an ad hoc level, various processes will require actions in terms of system approvals. Equally, availability is required for answering ad hoc queries or questions related to policies or local employment law.

  • Able to demonstrate competence and reliability, and being clear about any issues in communications with own management
  • Proficient critical thinking and analytical skills, turning data into insights and action
  • Skilled in supporting organisational change efforts and projects, and in related employee communication and presentations
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with the ability to influence and engage
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and understand stakeholder management
  • Staying abreast of industry, market and functional trends, to use these insights to develop appropriate business unit HR strategies and solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate learning and leadership agility, demonstrating commitment to our mission, and taking action in an organized, proactive manner
  • Experience of working well in a fast-paced environment maintaining energy and drive
  • Being able to maintain a structured, organised approach and a clear overview, set priorities and plan effectively
  • Fluency in English and Dutch languages
  • Solid Knowledge of HR Structure and COE's.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and familiarity with Dutch Works Councils.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of comprehensive HR partnership or HR management experience
  • Expertise in implementing business and change programmes and processes yielding positive results
  • Experience operating in a highly matrixed organization and understanding of the dynamics of the global marketplace
  • Experience of - or interest in - working in a multinational organisation
