Global Chemicals has been identified as a strategic growth area for the company with expansion opportunities in the US, Europe and developing markets, particularly Asia. Global Chemicals has 14 operational facilities in the US, Europe, and Asia, and sells a significant portion of its products through Thermo Fisher customers channels group in major Western markets.

• Directs, stages and places all material in or outside the building, using proper material handling equipment.
• Picks, prepares, packages, documents, labels and ships all material according to prescribed regulations using proper dispatching equipment.
• Unloads, verifies, sorts, separates, locates and properly documents (filing) all material. Responsible for inventory accuracy.
• Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment clean and in good working order.
• Will be expected to perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner. Expected to keep all work areas clean and orderly.
• Expected to do all possible to minimize downtime and material losses.

• High school diploma or GED
• The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, including RF Scanning, Fork Lift operation and may be required to use respirator
• Effective verbal and written communication skills including detail orientation and accuracy in documentation
• Previous experience in a chemical environment in preferred.

• Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required
