MAIN SCOPE OF THE POSITION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a pivotal figure in the organization, the PPI Project Manager oversees strategic and transformational deployment processes, ensuring efficient project management and successful delivery of high-complexity projects.

The PPI Project Manager plays a crucial role in evaluating initiatives, inspiring change in people attitude, and implementing lean culture improving site profitability and fostering organizational success.

ASSIGNMENTS, SPECIFIC/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES:

  • Coordinate the implementation of site and functional strategic deployment processes.
  • Deploy tools and operational standards to ensure efficient project and portfolio management, maintaining a consistent approach throughout the organization.
  • Take responsibility for evaluating initiatives as a support to the diagnostic phase, ensuring an informed decision-making process.
  • Serve as a Project Manager for high-complexity and strategic projects, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Provide support to project teams during the planning, execution, and control phases, ensuring timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Inspire change in both people and factory attitude to achieve desired results.
  • Implement lean culture and project management tools across the organization through training and engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate the site's performance management framework, collaborating with functions and site management to measure performance and align with divisional and company goals.

All the activities are executed under the guidance and supervision of the Manager, PPI Strategy Deployment to ensure full alignment with PPI function and site goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Necessary

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business or previous relevant experiences in similar positions

Desirable

  • Master degree in Engineering, Sciences or Business
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Technical competences:

Necessary

  • Good problem-solving skills and data acumen
  • Good team working attitude and ability to coach and motivate team members
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Good written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles

Desirable

  • Proven track record in digital transformation project management
  • Willingness to explore and embrace innovate technologies
  • Demonstrated operational excellence and continuous improvement experience (e.g. Green/Black Belt certification)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant project management certifications
  • Familiarity with GMP
  • Hands on change management experience in matrixed organization
  • Expertise with project management and engagement tools

Professional Experience:

Necessary

  • 2+ years of experience within manufacturing industries

Desirable

  • 2+ years of previous related project management experience in fast-paced manufacturing contexts
  • Experience in consulting firms or in internal consulting roles

Languages:

  • Fluency in English and Italian

  • Problem Solving: ability to identify issues, analyze them, and develop creative solutions for handling the challenges that may arise during a project through an analytical approach and "can-do" attitude.
