Job Description

The Human Identification Division of Thermofisher Scientific provides with simple, complete, end-to-end workflows for forensic DNA analysis to help resolve difficult cases and provide investigative leads in a forensically responsible and relevant manner. Major Responsibilities:

  • Based on profound knowledge of forensic human identification and Prospective activities, develop objectives to grow and expand business in the region
  • Develop, Strengthen, and maintain positive relationships with significant clients by understanding their business goals, while aligning them with our company standards
  • Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring timely action on client feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Devise strategic plans to increase revenue and profitability from key clients while adapting to the changing needs of clients.
  • Handle any issues or conflicts raised by key clients on time.
  • Competes for all existing and new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or exceed targets.
  • Develop strategies for our channel partners, appoints and dismisses channel partners to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Gathers, analyzes and delivers information from the field to allow the company to develop strategies and products appropriated to the forensic market.
  • Provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting through the use of the CRM system.
  • Ensures that all vital resources needed are used efficiently and effectively in order to increase business.
  • Co-ordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance

Qualifications / Education:

  • Knowledge of Thermo Fisher HID - DNA forensic technology workflows is preferred.
  • Experience in Law Enforcement segment and/or in DNA Forensic in public sector (i.e. Government), public procurement processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology or equivalent
  • Meaningful experience in Key Account Management and/or Distributor Management
  • Well organized individual with ability to establish short and long-term business objectives and have a demonstrable record of measuring performance toward those objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, ability to influence and work through networks, ability to manage business remotely and through Channel Partners
  • Frequent travel within region is required (60% minimum)

Excellent command of English is required. 2nd language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese) is a plus
