Purpose of the Role

The People & Culture Senior Director is a critical human resources role that combines the core skills of organization consulting, operational leadership, and people subject matter expertise to deliver on the people and culture strategy for the organization. Through partnership and consulting with peers and business leaders, the role will work to enhance the capabilities of our employees, develop and nurture leadership potential, and foster a supportive and growth-oriented culture.

Your Role

  • Strategic Consultation and Coaching: Provide strategic thought partnership, consultation, and coaching to leadership to enhance their impact and effectiveness on people related topics such as workforce planning, organization design, leadership development, and team and culture dynamics, aligned to the short- and long-term priorities of the organization.
  • Talent Management: Partner with 1) the Talent Acquisition team to identify staffing needs and support recruitment efforts and 2) Talent & Development partners on strategic talent pipeline planning and initiatives. Facilitating and stewarding the talent management processes and People Development Forums for the groups you support.
  • Employee Development: Partner with leaders to prioritize and foster a culture of development and continuous learning. Collaborate with Talent and Development partners to design and implement initiatives to support and upskill employees and drive a culture of high performance.
  • Organizational Culture: Work closely with leaders and the DTS Culture & Engagement lead(s) to identify areas of opportunity, develop action plans, and track progress to continue to improve employee engagement across the groups you support. Exhibit and role model cultural sensitivity and awareness due to the global nature of this role.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations; work with Employee Relations to address associate complaints and issues; collaborate with internal/external legal counsel on lawsuits and agency complaints.
  • Strategic consultation on local labor legislation as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities and initiatives as needed based on business needs and strategy

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources or related field or relevant experience required
  • Experience working with digital and/or technology teams is preferred.
  • Personal or professional experience leveraging both strategic and creative thinking to solve problems, innovate and/or develop solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Minimum 6 years Human Resource experience required
  • Previous consumer goods, manufacturing or distribution experience; must have previous experience with Talent Management, Organizational development/effectiveness, employee/labor relations, and change management
