What You'll Do for Us:

The Record to Report Manager is a member of the Global Record to Report team reporting directly to the Record to Report Service Delivery Director (SDL). Key responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Supporting our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team during month-end, quarter end and year-end close process
  • Responsible for exception management, review and approval of RTR transactions including journals, intercompany, fixed asset and project system requests.
  • Responsible for providing data inputs, exception management, and review and approval of RTR Corporate submissions including Balance Sheet narratives, Cashflow Actuals, Qtr/YRE supplemental schedules
  • Responsible for exception management, review and approval of high-risk reconciliations and providing BSR Risk/Opps reviews to FS clients/stakeholders.
  • Supporting the implementation of process improvements initiatives driven by the RTR Business Process Lead

The Record to Report Manager will need to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction. The scope of work is global as this role will work closely with our Global Function finance teams. Communication will be frequent with internal audit, external audit, Genpact (MSP), Global Function finance teams, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Tax, Corporate Controller's Group, and other associates within the Global RTR and Controllership organization.

The Record to Report Manager will be responsible for supporting and reviewing the end-to-end accounting for some of the largest and most complex legal entities within TCCC. The role will be required to create new monitoring routines and establishing collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. This position will adopt best practices and drive continuous improvement with key stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting along with CPI/CPA.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in similar positions, with experience in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and familiarity with ERP systems and productivity/reporting software.
  • GAAP - Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ('GAAP')
  • Technical Skills - Ability to understand complex/unusual transactions, research the relevant technical accounting guidance, and interpret/apply the guidance to the transactions.
  • Analytical Skills - Ability to convert general data and findings into specific, actionable recommendations.
  • Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to influence others.
  • Teamwork - Experience working within a complex team environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in groups. The willingness to exercise initiative and collaborate with others across the organization and beyond.
