Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Space, located in Kent, WA is seeking a Staff Analyst (Experienced or Senior).

This position will be responsible for supporting various unclassified and classified U.S. government aerospace programs.

A staff analyst helps the program operate seamlessly and efficiently. Working closely with the Program Executive Leadership, a staff analyst joins the program management team to promote operational excellence by helping manage the program's battle rhythm, logistics, and contractual deliverables. A staff analyst will help with execution and coordination through all phases.

A staff analyst will be responsible to schedule and coordinate key program meetings, manage action items and meeting minutes, work with the program team to ensure dates and deadlines are communicated, manage data flow into the program's classified network, and manage data flow for customer deliveries. A staff analyst works closely with the rest of the program management team to ensure there are no gaps in program operations, ultimately helping the program succeed by meeting contractual requirements and exceeding customer expectations.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Supports the development, planning and execution of employee-related activities and initiatives.
  • Partners with organization leaders on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives.
  • Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendations.
  • Provides continuous assessment of overall meeting/review architecture.
  • Analyzes and summarizes data used in the development and proposal of organizational direction (e.g., budget information, workforce levels, training requirements and equipment/facility needs).
  • Develops executive level briefings.
  • Supports the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of the project schedule and budget; monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status.
  • Plans and coordinates organizational facility requirements.
  • Supports the development and deployment of training content.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts, suppliers, partners and customers to deploy broad organizational training.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with executives and VIPs execution of meetings, visits, travel

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying organizational plans and strategies
  • 3+ years of previous experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
  • 3+ years of experience working with executives and senior customers and officials and their administrative teams
  • An Associate's degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Effective communicator across multiple functions and management levels and customers
  • Familiarity in planning events in secure environments while adhering to security protocols
  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Typical Education & Experience:

Level 3:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for level 3: $79,050 - $106,950

Summary pay range for level 4: $100,300 - $135,700
