The Boeing Company is currently looking for a Citrix and Windows Product Owner to join their team in Denver, CO. The position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.

A successful candidate is a Citrix and Windows Administrator with Agile experience in the Product Owner role. Responsibilities will include support, maintain and provision Jeppesen / Boeing and customer facing infrastructure services for multiple applications and products. The candidate should have advanced trouble shooting skills and solid experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Networking, VMware, Citrix products. Windows operating systems both server and desktop to support needs of the business and multiple infrastructures.

Must be able to support other team members as required for training or other areas of support as needed or be the escalation point to resolve complex internal or customer issues as required with good communication skills in the event the issue would be required to be escalated to internal infrastructure architects or vendor level support.

Position Responsibilities:
  • The Citrix/Windows Product Owner is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure within the Windows/Citrix System Admin team.
  • This individual participates in technical development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Business Partners.
  • This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases using our standard JIRA Project Management Methodology.
  • These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and requirements gathering; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
  • This individual is accountable for Citrix/Windows Application and Infrastructure systems that support all aspects of Jeppesen back office and customer facing Applications. Responsibilities on these systems include provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and development to ensure continual innovation.
  • The Product Owner is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Business Partners.
  • This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
  • Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle. Applies appropriate estimating techniques to determine the level of effort and financial investment required for the technical implementation of the tools or new solutions.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience as a Citrix Administrator
  • 3+ years of experience as a Windows Administrator
  • 1+ year of experience as an Agile Scrum Master or other Agile named role.
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
  • Willing and able to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • All Citrix Xen App 6x/7x, XenDesktop, Windows Server, and Active Directory, Group Policy, Citrix applied policies and DNS.
  • Manage applications in Citrix Environment
  • Experience with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop v6.x and v7.x
  • Experience with Windows Group Policy and Citrix Policy administration
  • Experience with Citrix Storefront and NetScaler is desired.
  • Experience with all versions of Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Experience with VMware and virtual machine migrations and server deployment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
