Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Training Engineering (GTE) is looking for two (2) Senior Systems Engineers to be located in Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO. The senior systems engineer would establish the architecture and design for new training devices being developed to support a new, proprietary platform.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop the system architecture, requirements and design for training systems supporting a proprietary development program
  • Document the requirements and architecture using MBSE processes and tools
  • Work closely with the proprietary development program to understand the training needs
  • Be resourceful in developing solutions
  • Implement, demonstrate and articulate the architecture vision to others
  • Willingness to learn Model Based Systems Engineering principles and tools (e.g. Ops analysis, subsystem/sensor models, emulators, tools like AFSIM, Cameo, etc.)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • Bachelor degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 5+ years' experience with all aspects of the SEIT product development lifecycle
  • 3+ years' of systems architecture experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft training systems

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $119,850 - 162,150
