Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Senior Supplier Program Management - Aircraft Systems (level 4) to support our team inEverett, Washington.

This role serves to lead the development of Category Strategies, Category Management Plans and the execution of supporting projects on both legacy and product development platforms. This role relies heavily on the ability of the category manager's ability to communicate efficiently at all levels to translate engineering and supply chain aspirations into practical plans. This specific role is in the Avionics Category and experience with avionics systems through supply chain management, engineering, flight training or related military experience is strongly preferred.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all go to market strategies.
  • Collaborates in conducting supplier assessments and customer satisfaction.
  • Finds opportunities and collaboratively carries out strategies to capture market share.
  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Develops and completes work movement plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite with the flexibility to telecommute 1 day a week. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field
  • 3+ years of experience developing and implementing strategies
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • 3+ years in supply chain management
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically & internationally up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with avionics flight control systems
  • 5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
  • 5+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Typical Education/ Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $118,150 - $159,850
