The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Architect to join our Information Technology team in Seattle, WA.

As the senior enterprise architect for Salesforce solutions at the Boeing Company, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the design and sustainment of scalable, secure solutions spanning the Salesforce ecosystem and our global commercial, defense, and services businesses. You will own the integrity and strength of our implementations on Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, Configuration Price Quote (CPQ), Analytics, Data, and related clouds.

You are a seasoned Salesforce professional who would bring your passion for driving innovation to shaping our customer engagement technology landscape. You'll be acting as a trusted advisor to our teams, and an effective mentor for the technical and business professionals working alongside you. You will possess advanced certifications, as well as deep project experience, on multiple Salesforce clouds.You will bring a broad technical understanding of Salesforce configuration, integrations, data and object models, development and enterprise architecture best-practices, and agile methodologies. Just as importantly, you'll use top-notch people skills and integrity to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders, effectively govern our complex enterprise solutions, and get your visions built into successful solutions.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads Salesforce road-mapping, solution design and architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practice
  • Collaborates with business, technology, and supplier partners to understand their processes, goals, and challenges, and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions
  • Conducts thorough analysis of requirements and provide recommendations on Salesforce features, functionalities, and customizations
  • Develops comprehensive technical designs, including data models, integration points, and security models, to support the implementation of Salesforce solutions
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices and standards
  • Collaborates with agile development teams to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Conducts regular code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations on how to leverage them to improve our Salesforce implementations
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for the enterprise on Salesforce, providing guidance, governance, compliance assurance, and support to internal teams

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in architecting solutions and integrations across Salesforce platforms, with a proven track record of solution implementation for complex business requirements
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Advanced Salesforce certifications, including Architect, Developer, Consultant, Administrator, and/or Design

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce Technologies
  • Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and integrating Salesforce with other systems
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Relocation:

This position will be for first shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $153,000 - $207,000
