Job Description:

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Salesforce Technical Architect who will play a pivotal role in defining and enforcing design standards, as well as developing scalable, robust solutions that support our core business functions—Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success.

In this pivotal position, the Salesforce Technical Architect will steer our Salesforce architecture's technical trajectory, collaborating closely with Domain Architects and Enterprise Architects. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic outlook to our Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging their deep technical knowledge to solve complex business challenges, optimize our Salesforce platform's utilization, and mentor team members in Salesforce best practices and advanced technical concepts.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Document and implement solution design standards, technical specifications, and other configurations for our Salesforce org.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solution designs that best leverage the Salesforce platform and product.
  • Lead technical design sessions; create, estimate, and solution user stories; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives.
  • Demonstrate Salesforce thought leadership, educating team members and internal stakeholders on Salesforce platform best practices, and ensuring adherence across the implementation team.
  • Map business requirements to Salesforce capabilities and decide when and which custom solutions (custom config or custom dev) are necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional solution architecture alignment (strategy/planning, architecture, business operations and enterprise technology delivery) to determine how best to architect Salesforce solutions as part of a consolidated tech stack.
  • Document current and future state in terms of solution architecture, functional/technical specifications, data integration and data migration solution design.

Experience you'll need:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years working as a Salesforce Architect with the relevant Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Data Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, etc.)
  • Experience working with Copado/Git for Salesforce CI/CD as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Functional understanding of key Lead-to-Cash integration use cases and design patterns including Product and Pricing, Account/Address Validation, Tax Calculation, Provisioning/Fulfillment, ERP, Accounting/General Ledger, etc...
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bonus if you have:

  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
  • Certinia PSA experience
  • Experience with event-driven architecture between Salesforce and Mulesoft, or equivalent middleware platforms.
