Position Overview:

Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated & experienced Senior Methods Process Analystto support the VC-25B program located in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts long term business strategy planning by leading the analysis of the current and future business environment.

  • Develops forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support long term company initiatives and program business.
  • Develops Business System factory definition at a program level for new and complex statements of work.
  • Develops labor hour estimates for complex new or revised production and/or tooling work packages.
  • Utilizes significant experience to develop solutions to future business plans and strategies.
  • Acts as a consultant to lower level analysts.
  • Develops integrated tool and production master schedules in support of long term business plans and strategies.
  • Recognized as a subject expert and consults with business unit and company level management.
  • Considered an expert of Process Improvement tools and coordinates across organizations to lead the identification and implementation of improvements to processes.
  • Acts as consultant to senior management both with in business units and across the enterprise.
  • Acts as a consultant and external spokesperson for programs, business units and enterprise level to address unplanned events.
  • Assists as a subject matter expert to develop plans and actions needed to address complex recovery efforts.
  • Acts as a consultant during negotiations, representing Production and Tooling Operations to Senior Management, to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts at program/enterprise level.
  • Leads the development of processes and procedures using advanced industrial engineering principles, theories, and concepts to address the development, implementation, maintenance, and status of integrated shop operating plans at a program/enterprise level.
  • Acts as a consultant to top-level management in the development and support of long range business performance metrics by analyzing data in order to recommend plan of action.

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • 9+ years of experience working in or supporting industrial engineering.
    • 10+ years of experience with programming languages such as R, Python, SAS or Java
    • 1+ year of experience in developing and refining executive level presentations

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • SAS Certification-Advanced Programming
    • SAS ODS and Stored Processes
    • Extensive knowledge SAS/Enterprise Guide, SAS/Web Report Studio
    • Expertise in Python and SQL are essential

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Pay Transparency

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
