This is an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities & Asset Management team as a Facilities Analyst Subject Matter Expert, (Level 5), supporting Renton and North Boeing Field flight lines. This position will be guiding F&AM within the Maintenance/Fueling/Testing oversight within Aviation Fueling. This person will navigate Renton F&AM through all the Program requirements, test and evaluation efforts, maintaining all maintenance records and to verify and document all Governmental and Boeing requirements.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Initiates contracts that may have enterprise-wide implications
  • Develops contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents
  • Interacts with suppliers and buyers to facilitate team relationships to ensure a detailed understanding of the organizations needs and requirements and continuous improvement of contractual processes
  • Serves as a primary consultant regarding facilities scheduling
  • Builds and deploys high-level schedules in support of long-term business plans, goals, and objectives
  • Builds innovative system processes based on interpersonal development principles and theories. Initiates and leads regional, site, or enterprise-wide cross-functional teams to build and validate processes
  • Serves as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policy
  • May benchmark with outside companies in the development of best practices
  • Uses project management tools and industry-recognized concepts to develop scope of work, budget, and schedules to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget. Defines, designs, and plans the project
  • May lead and coordinate regional, site, or enterprise-wide cross-functional teams to complete projects
  • Defines regional, site, or enterprise-wide guidelines for data collection, analysis, and application
  • Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories
  • Using resourcefulness and innovation, identifies and creates solutions to complex problems
  • Leads studies and research efforts using multifaceted media (such as financial data, internet, reports, benchmarking studies, new technology, etc.) for determining feasibility, viability, or capability in support of a program, project or customer request
  • Prepares and presents reports with options and recommendations that may have regional, site, or enterprise-wide impact with significant implications
  • Proactively conducts studies and research within specific area of expertise or pertaining to a broad area of experience and knowledge
  • Leads the effort to develop and communicate large-scale, enterprise-wide, regional or site solutions
  • Applies a broad range of experience and expertise to implement recommendations and acquire results
  • Recommendations may serve as a precedent for future decisions that may apply throughout the company
  • Provides expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance for various site, regional or enterprise-wide hardware, software, systems, or processes
  • Applies expertise in particular subject area to develop innovative solutions
  • Ensures that configuration control is maintained for data, processes, equipment, and documents
  • Delivers process training
  • Supports curriculum development and creation of training materials
  • Coordinates with internal training organizations and outside vendors as applicable
  • Performs problem resolution of business operations that may have regional, site, or enterprise-wide impact by investigating, developing and preparing alternatives, impact statements, and recommendations
  • Takes into consideration objectives and strategies that meet business and infrastructure requirements
  • Conducts studies and makes recommendations for long-range plans and for current operations to support all levels of management
  • Contributes to development of budget and long-range business plans
  • Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues; responds effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information effectively to a wide variety of audiences

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience servicing aviation fuel to fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft
  • Verbal and written communication skills are required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to clearly communicate at the Senior Management Level
  • Experience building positive relationships, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly
  • Some travel will be required
  • 5+ years or more experience in the maintenance/troubleshooting of aviation fueling equipment
  • Understanding of IATA regulatory and compliance requirements as they would relate to Aviation fueling equipment
  • Background in diesel truck maintenance and repairs

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
