The opportunity

We are seeking an Electronic Warfare Engineer with experience in ESM and ESWPto join our team to support our airborne based platforms.

The role can be based in either Brisbane, Williamtown or Adelaide. Full-time, part-time and flexible opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:
  • Subject matter focal for the Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Electronic Warfare Self Protection (EWSP) on the Wedgetail platform.
  • Work closely with the in-service support team, subcontractors and Boeing US to support current and future upgrades.
  • Contribute toward systems engineering activities to support design and integration of ESM and EWSP hardware and software onto the Wedgetail Mission System.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting during installation in the platform.
  • Elicit, analyse and develop requirements.
  • Develop technical documentation.
  • Seek opportunities for design and process improvement.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced engineers.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or communications systems engineering or similar discipline.
  • Experience in system design, integration, testing and evaluation of ground-based and airborne systems.
  • Experience with Electronic Support Measures and Electronic Warfare Self Protection systems.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
