Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join the Executive Transport team in either San Antonio or Dallas, Texas, Berkeley, Hazelwood or St. Charles, Missouri, El Segundo, Huntington Beach, Long Beach or Seal Beach, California, Huntsville, Alabama, Arlington, Virginia, Mesa, Arizona, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania or Seattle, Washington.

At Boeing, our Associate Procurement Agent will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Boeing Company. Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
  • More than 1 year of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
  • More than 1 year of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement.
  • More than 1 year of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
  • More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
  • More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
  • More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
  • More than 1 year of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $60,350 - $81,650
