Associate Procurement & Development Specialist

About the Role:  

We’re looking for a highly motivated Associate Procurement & Development Specialist to play a significant role in the expansion of our Private Label business, through product development and procurement management. To act as the liaison between Product Development, Planning, Merchandising and our warehouse partners.  This is an ideal position for a candidate who is looking to expand their career in E-Commerce within a direct-to-consumer brand.  This person must be able to work independently in a fluid and fast-paced environment and be able to assist in the development of strategies with cross functional partners.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Oversee the packaging artwork process- by initiating and maintaining artwork approvals and communication with cross functional partners and manufacturers. 
  • Assist in the management of our new vendor setup process while developing and maintaining strong partnerships with new and existing vendors/manufacturers.
  • Assist the Product Development Director and team in tracking new and existing development from concept phase to finished goods arriving in warehouse.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of all new items set up, marketing site copy and image quality review for PDPs on site. 
  • Assist in product launch sample testing while keeping vendors current on all brand guidelines, development, and protocol updates.
  • Maintain and update imperative documents that are crucial to our product development and launch process including Sku Master database, PO & LOI Trackers. 
  • Foster collaborative relationships with Site Ops, Creative and Merchandising teams to ensure online presence supports desired customer experience.

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement or merchandising role
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Understanding of product development processes and best practices

Compensation:

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000

Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 10%
