Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Associate Fabrication Specialist to support the Emergent Operations Tube Shop in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd Shift.
The successful candidate will perform bending of metal tubes/conduit following established drawings and requirements.

Position Responsibilities:
- Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks.
- Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Assembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains.
- Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.
- Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
- Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
- Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Ability to work 2nd Shift.
- Minimum 1 year experience in aerospace, fabrication and manufacturing.
- Minimum 1 year experience bending metal tubes/conduit.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 787 Program Experience.
Typical Education/ Experience:
High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relocation:

Summary pay range: 46,750 - 63,250
