EHS Manager

Job Overview

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct EHS trainings on all leadership levels aiming development towards interdependent EHS culture
• You conduct risk analyses and assist in the assessment of working conditions and the preparation of risk assessments. They analyze accidents and initiate appropriate measures for future prevention.
• You conduct internal audits to maintain and improve the occupational safety, health and environmental protection management system and also assist with external audits.
• You will drive the development and standardization of EHS processes to TE specifications and be responsible for incorporating new laws and regulations into our internal processes.

• You proactively support and advise on new construction and refurbishment projects.

What your background should look like:

• Relevant technical degree (engineer, bachelor or master) or comparable qualification with several years of relevant professional experience,
• Occupational health and safety qualification (f/m/d) with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Work experience in a position with similar responsibilities in EHS, experience managing and leading direct reports, leadership skills

• Occupational safety specialist (f/m/d), and internal auditor ISO14001/ ISO45001(f/m/d), Knowledge of environmental occupational safety management (ISO 14001/ISO45001), Advantageous: experience in waste management in recycling and recovery technologies and fire safety qualification
• In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety/environmental management, machine safety, hazardous materials and emergency management. The ability to implement processes sustainably and to inspire others with ideas
• Ability to work in a team, structured and solution-oriented, analytical thinking, project management
• Fluency in English and Hungarian languages
• Self-determined attitude, good problem-solving skills;
• Good communication, influencing and management skills;
• Good observation and auditing skills;
• User skills of MS Office;
