Job Description:

We're looking for a P&L Senior Product Analyst within the Manage My Deposits Product Group who is a highly seasoned professional with substantial product management knowledge, strong problem-solving, analytical, and business acumen.

As a P&L Senior Product Analyst you will:

  • Deliver financial results for the product / suite via effective operation of all available levers: pricing, margin, volume, etc.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new financial models, methodologies and framework to improve ongoing reporting and analysis, enabling the extraction of key insights to identify business drivers for strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of industry trends and stay informed about emerging developments to enhance business awareness, identify challenges and opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Liaise with partners (e.g., Finance, Treasury Management, Wealth, Retail) and lead/facilitate problem-solving sessions.
  • Contribute to team development and positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Participate fully as a member of the team; support a positive work environment.

Job Requirements

What can you bring to TD? Tell us about your most relevant experience, credentials, and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:

  • Undergraduate degree or product management certificate, and / or
  • Five (5) or more years relevant experience
  • Previous P&L and Product experience is an asset
  • Advanced Excel skills are a key asset
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to conduct product research, product analysis and development, forecasting, pricing, competitive intelligence
  • Knowledge of competitor and market trends
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Skill in using analytical software tools, MS Office, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively (both speaking and writing), provide direction and build relationships across teams and functions
  • Act as a brand ambassador for our business, the Bank, both internally and externally
