Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

  • Complete rotation objectives set together with each host at the beginning of each rotation
  • Develop detailed, accurate, and timely research and reporting supported by insightful commentary
  • Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
  • Conduct meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices
  • Identify/implement process improvements to automate, streamline, and increase of analysis and decisions
  • Represent business on cross-functional/cross-product working groups, projects, and forums
  • Work with key business partners on strategic initiatives
  • Liaison between internal stakeholders and external advisors, where appropriate
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, working with discretion and confidentiality
  • Advise and present senior management and influence decisions
  • Invest in personal development and growth
  • May be customer/client facing, and may be required to provide solutions for escalated inquiries or concerns

For Branch Manager Program:

  • Build effective, profitable, long-lasting relationships with a variety of unique personal banking, business banking, and high-value clients
  • Act as a subject matter expert for complex personal banking issues, particularly relating to credit applications/management
  • Liaise with other business units (e.g., Wealth, Business Banking, etc.) to facilitate successful referrals of clients among the branch team

For Technology Solutions Programs:

  • Design and build software, applications, etc. according to business requirements, UX designs, and architectural guidelines, ensuring a high-quality solution

SHAREHOLDER

  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for our business area
  • Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs/priorities, and complies with internal/external requirements.
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
  • Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements ( e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals and physical control of assets)
  • Protect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk activities as necessary
  • Participate in cross-functional / enterprise / initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations
  • Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process/performance improvements
  • Lead / facilitate and/or implement actions/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues
  • Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
  • Keep abreast of emerging issues/trends and evolving regulatory climate, and assess potential impacts
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

For Branch Manager Program:

  • Meet or exceed business objectives by negotiating and executing business plan
  • Plan and execute business development activities, review and communicate results, and adjust tactics accordingly
  • Coach team to proactively identify customer needs and to deliver on the sales goals.
  • Identify and develop relationships with existing customers and external referral sources to generate demand for products/services
  • Ensure necessary due diligence is taken to support the accuracy of all customer transactions

  • Leads cross-functional teams or projects with significant resource requirements, risk and / or complexity
  • Independently manages end-to-end functional programs
  • Solves or may lead others to solve complex problems; leads efforts or partners with others to develop new solutions
  • Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify solutions
  • Impacts the achievement of sub-function or business line objectives within the area they are accountable for
  • Work is guided by policies and industry standards/methods
  • Communicates difficult concepts; converts information to compelling business context and advice; influences and gains alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Graduate Degree in related field
  • 7+ years related experience
