Job Description:

The Loan Operations Group Manager I provides oversight for the coordination and maintenance of several diverse segments of Loan Operations activities. The Group Manager leads Loan Operations teams and manages the managers of larger teams as well as individual contributors.

Depth & Scope:

  • Leads assigned multiple Loan Operations teams to ensure continuous delivery of standard operating procedures and controls. Group managers will manage the managers of larger teams and also manage individual contributors
  • Continually assesses the workflows and processes of the business teams, striving for improvement
  • Provides recommendations and manages budget
  • In conjunction with manager, develops, enhances and implements imaging/business process management system functionality towards further automated processes and workflow
  • Coaches and develops teams; ensures each team member is meeting objectives as expected
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and respect when interacting with LOB partners and senior management

Education & Experience:

  • Work experience equivalent to Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years related experience required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices related to operations is required
  • Proven strategic planning, leadership, delegation, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound and cost effective business decisions in an ever changing, dynamic environment
  • Superb problem solving skills and ability to quickly apply effective conflict resolution strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required with ability to successfully communicate and influence all levels of the organization a must
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant banking and regulatory rules and polices required
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and make sound decisions within, and outside of, established policy
  • Demonstrated experience in developing new policies, procedures and methods in response to, and in anticipation of, changes the business and regulatory environment
  • Prior experience in operational acquisitions a strong plus
  • Ability to represent division with vendors, business partners, external organizations
  • Community minded
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and coordinate projects involving multiple functional areas of the Company
  • Travel required
