Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced originator to join our GTB team in Singapore for a 6 to 12 month contractual period for a maternity leave cover. Reporting to the Regional Head of APAC and Europe for GTB, the successful candidate will drive the business development, sales, and strategy for GTB with Corporate clients across the Asia Pacific region, working in alignment with the wider bank's strategy.

• Identify and drive opportunities with new, existing Corporates and Export Credit Agencies across the GTB product suite, particularly in:

• Maintain an active pipeline of prospective deals aligned with defined strategic objectives.
• Lead deal execution across the transaction lifecycle: from due diligence and pitching, to onboarding, implementation and post-deal servicing.
• Apply a strategic and risk-informed lens to opportunity evaluation and credit positioning.
• Engage with clients' senior decision markets including Treasurers, CFOs, and Heads of Trade.
• Support clients in navigating the bank's internal structure and engaging the right stakeholders to address deal or service issues as necessary.

• Formulate and prepare appropriate materials, proposals and presentations for/to senior management.
• Provide market insights, client feedback, and competitor analysis in key markets to shape business strategy.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes and industry developments specific to GTB industry.
• Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives and new GTB product builds in Asia and globally.

• Partner with Global Markets, CIB, and other teams globally to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
• Work closely with regional teams in Asia Pacific and with GTB teams in North America and Europe to develop cross-regional business.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and cross-selling opportunities with a "One Bank" mindset.
• Reviews, guides, and appropriately leverages work of junior team members to drive business results.
• Represent the GTB function in internal forums.
• Represent TD's unique and inclusive culture internally and externally.
• Contribute to elevating the TD and GTB brand presence in the industry and community.

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in Global Transaction Banking or Corporate Banking with a major financial institution, including at least 5 years as a senior or lead contributor showcasing a successful track record in deal origination and execution.
• Has strong inter-personal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong client Relationship Management skills, with experience developing and managing relationships with large corporations and/or institutions.
• Ability to operate and speak to clients/prospects across a variety of industries and cultures.
• Ability to drive resolutions of client issues.
• Ability to create and deliver professional business ideas and presentations.
• Geopolitical and business acumen.
• Possess a team-oriented attitude, self-motivation, initiative, and flexibility.
• Able to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn tasks quickly.
• In-depth understanding and experience of the following Global Transaction Banking business, in particular:

• Good understanding of Capital Market products and synergy between different desks across Global Markets, and how they complement CIB and GTB.
• Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including WORD, POWERPOINT and EXCEL.
