About the Job:
Sr. Manager, Site Reliability Engineering, leads a team of multiple managers and engineers supporting 5 platforms/applications, front-of-house technologies (POS, KDS, Kiosk, Payment & Digital Signage) spanning 7,500+ restaurant locations. Providing problem and trend analysis; oversee post-release verification support activities; act as the primary point of contact for support escalations from internal and external sources.
The Day-to-Day:
- Build and manage a team of production support analyst and engineers across multiple time zones who work to analyze and maintain service stability; providing technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Work closely with multi-functional teams collaborating on product requirements, specifications, schedules, quality, and technical acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Project Management, Operational and Engineering peers to develop innovative technical solutions that meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify tactical issues and emerging areas of concern; act as the central point of contact for major incidents, including technical issues, and service disruptions.
- Continually refine and improve existing processes through structured decision making and collaborative execution; reduce toil and enable teams to operate and run their services thru automation and tooling.
- Support management of technology budget, optimizing spending to achieve desired business outcomes within budget constraints.
Is This You?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (six additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree).
- 10+ years of experience deploying and supporting largescale technology applications with a strong customer focus.
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering results aligned with business objectives.
- Experience in a managed service provider (MSP) environment or managing technology across multiple brands is a plus.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Proven track record in monitoring, observability, data analysis, and tier3 application support.
- Hands on experience troubleshooting code, networking, systems, and storage at an expert level.
- Exceptional communication skills and comfort engaging with executive leadership.

Salary Range: $165,700 to $220,000 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
