About the Job:

As the CRM Solutions Architect, you will play an integral role on the CRM Data & Solutions team, architect and deliver marketing and lifecycle communications that engage consumers and drive long-term retention. This person will design, build, and enable automated customer journeys to support CRM and digital marketing efforts.

This person will develop and activate omnichannel marketing campaigns incorporating email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging as part multi-touch customer journeys. The person will also be creating complex audience segmentations within the Customer Data Platform for personalization and A/B testing for optimization.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable thinking strategically with the ability to collaborate across teams, vendors, and 3rd party agencies. This role is for an individual who is passionate about consumer experience and marketing, offers a high-level technical skillset with solid knowledge of database structures and schemas.

This role will report to our CRM Data & Solutions Manager, playing a critical role in developing the Taco Bell Digital CRM program and continuing to support the team as it evolves.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Architect and activate CRM customer journeys involving email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging
  • Document campaign flows in detail and present to cross-functional teams for knowledge sharing
  • Review briefs, manage workflow tools, kick off campaign building, and proactively request more information from the team as needed
  • Build audience segmentation incorporating attributes based on customer profiles, behavior, engagement, and predictive scoring
  • Develop and execute experiments involving A/A, A/B, and multi-variate testing for optimization
  • Integrate Martech applications with automation messaging platforms via APIs
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc queries and discoveries as needed
  • Analyze and compile key learnings from all touch points of the customer journey in order to optimize performance
  • Collaborate with partners and provide guidance on CRM best practices and opportunities to leverage technology to drive more innovative and engaging messaging
  • Work closely with mobile developers, business intelligence, customer middleware, customer insights, and loyalty operations
  • Partner inclusively with 3rd party agency partners and technology providers
  • Continuously stay on top of training to ensure knowledge of best practices, coding functionality, and new product features 

Is This You?

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of CRM general experience, including direct experience with development and deployment of automated customer journeys
  • 4+ years of experience building audience segmentation and understanding of relational database best practices with basic SQL knowledge
  • 2+ years direct experience in Braze or Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms with knowledge of building Canvas journeys and triggered automations
  • Must have experience designing and building a marketing customer automation journey
  • Deep understanding of campaign flow, process, and how it drives digital marketing efforts
  • Experience with configurations of SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, and scripting to enable dynamic content and personalization
  • Experience configuring API integration connecting Martech platforms
  • Knowledge of Punchh loyalty platform or similar
  • Experience with Confluence/JIRA or other similar project management tool a plus
  • Acute attention to detail and exemplary communication & organizational skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: ­$103,500-$120,000 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
