About the Job:

The Associate Manager, BI Production Support, is responsible for leading a team of BI support analysts to ensure the stable operation and continuous improvement of a large Business Intelligence (BI) platform within Taco Bell. This role involves overseeing day-to-day support activities, managing escalations, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize BI operations. 

The Associate Manager, BI Production Support is responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of BI infrastructure and applications, ultimately enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.. With this role, the opportunities are endless: you will champion integration of AI technologies into BI production support processes and streamline operations, improve system reliability, and unlock new opportunities for innovation and value creation in data-driven decision-making. This role will report to Sr Manager, Data Architecture & Reliability and lead a team of 4 BI support analysts.   

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead a team of BI support analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to ensure efficient and effective support operations.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the BI production support team, including incident management, problem resolution, and escalation procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BI development, infrastructure, and cross functional users, to prioritize and address support requests and system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, including standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and addressing issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Act as main point of contact with vendors and external service providers to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades and patches.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI support roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity managing employees.
  • Strong technical expertise in BI tools and technologies, such as Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.

Salary Range: ­­$104,600 - $148,830 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
