As part of the Global Portfolio and Project Management team, the Commercialization Planner will enable global business growth through commercializing products from ideation through post launch evaluation for renovation, expansion, and limited time offer projects.

The Commercialization Planner will lead discussions between Marketing, Region, OU, Supply Chain, and other relevant internal and external global partners to deliver projects on time and escalating project risks and mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.

This role provides broad exposure to every facet of the organization and requires a person with considerable cross functional communication to drive meaningful discussion as it relates to project risk, timeline status, and quality.

  • Responsible for managing low to medium complexity projects globally from ideation to evaluation to drive growth at Suntory Global Spirits.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead discussions between Marketing, Region, OU, Supply Chain, and other relevant internal and external global partners to deliver projects on time and escalating project risks and mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
    • To attend and come prepared to core team meetings, RORI transition meetings, SKU rationalizations, and any other calls assigned to the CM role to drive action items, proactively challenge stakeholders, and lead any output actions from those meetings to completion.
    • To lead the decision process to ensure the right SKUs are created in a project ensuring supply chain efficiency and market compliance.
    • Coordinates project input from multiple cross functional internal and external partners through project status calls to ensure project is on track and/or escalate if delayed.
  • Provide full overview and tracking of all innovation, renovation, and market extension projects for Southeast Asia, Japan and India markets.
    • To provide accurate, on time information and following the Commercialization format, to stakeholders during the Innovation/Collaborative meetings.
    • To drive accountability of actions with stakeholders to completion.
    • To document and communicate accurately all applicable SKUs in a project to S&OP, Supply & markets.
  • Responsible for updating master tracking file with all project information and prepare presentation for Innovation meetings.
    • Monthly refresh and publish of SKU Tracker & Project Tracker to stakeholders in S&OP and Supply Fulfilment for Asia, Japan and India.
  • Owns projects and key contributor for low to medium complex projects.
    • To properly adhere to the ways of working defined for each task and working with cross functional teams to remove any blockers and/or drive process improvements to completion.
    • To document accurately all questions inside the project briefs to the level of detail needed dependent of project type.
    • To properly annotate artwork in projects following the Labeling and Packaging Guidelines for the region.
    • To develop understanding of the Proof Positive Initiatives in the company with Regulatory and when the requirements apply to the types of SKUs/labels.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to drive process and system improvements that enable efficient ways of working.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the business and interdependencies between countries and projects.
  • Ability to work in a global environment with multi-cultural teams to successfully deliver quality products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree Project Management or business-related field.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Project Management/Commercialization.
  • Demonstrated success in Commercialization roles and influence with cross functional teams in an ever-evolving environment.
  • Spirits and or food industry experience will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Planisware, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing). Professional working proficiency in Japanese will be a plus.
