Mission of Role

To help lead the Jim Beam®Trademark in Australia, to achieve the annual sales & marketing objectives and drive growth for the business. This role partners with the Global James B. Beam Distilling Co. Brand House and the local Suntory licensed team, working closely with Advocacy, Innovation, Finance and Commercialization functions.

Role Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage annual brand plan (ATL/ BTL, on/off premise) and liaise directly with Global Brand House and agencies to develop & deliver programs on time and on budget.
  • Support Senior Brand Manager to deliver 3-year Growth plan in partnership Global Brand House.
  • Contribute to NPD strategies for future growth. Especially with reference to developing commercially viable RTD propositions.
  • Develop and execute through the line brand campaigns in partnership Global Brand House.
  • Lead the implementation of media, earned and experiential activity for the brand.
  • Develop and leverage sponsorship partners and experiential platform to maximize each property.
  • Build effective working relationships with commercialization teams to gain input, alignment and support on the execution of brand plans.
  • Effective communication of brand standards, plans, strategy, and TTL programs to key stakeholders (internal & external).
  • Regular brand performance and health reviews, tracking, and reporting to identify market opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in a consumer marketing environment with proven ability in brand marketing
  • Tertiary qualifications (preferably Commerce or Business with Marketing Major)
  • Liquor industry experience is valued but not essential
  • Knowledge & understanding of mass communication process & sponsorship platforms
  • Ability to use creative marketing techniques effectively
  • Experience with bringing new products to market including cross-functional project team involvement
