As Stryker's face of service in an assigned territory, technician will perform repairs and/or preventative maintenance tasks,
will diagnose errors or technical problems and will provide a solution and/or resolve service needs while minimizing

Individual Responsibilities:
• Drive efficiencies across the business by proactive collaboration with internal departments to promote a culture of
inclusivity and cooperation.

Functional Responsibilities:
• Directly support local technicians with preventative maintenance and repair activities.
• May provide temporary coverage and/or support for Field Service Technician territories.
• Plan for frequent travel between hospitals in health system and/or territory
• Follow all administrative duties and document required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Participate in resolution of customer complaints
• Be a problem-solver and drive process improvements in all aspects.
• Be a leader in personal performance for the field service metrics.
• Manage schedule and resources as dictated by customer needs.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Conduct & Compliance:
• Abide by and support the policies set forth in the Stryker Code of Conduct and other provided policies.
• Understand that compliance with the Code of Conduct, as it may be amended by Stryker Corporation from time to
time, is a condition of continued employment with Stryker.
• Conduct work in compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations and in accordance with Stryker's high ethical
standards.
• Report and violations of these policies and procedures to Stryker management or in the manner outlined in Stryker's
Ethics Hotline Policy.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present ideas and results in logical manner.
• Must have ability to exert up to 75lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs of force to constantly move objects.
• Must have near visual acuity (corrected) color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity.
• Must be willing to work overtime and overnight per the customer's specified need.
• Must have strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple functions and adhere to daily deadlines.
• Must maintain professional appearance, work ethic, and attitude required by Stryker and our customers.

• Must have ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and often stressful conditions.
• Must be self-motivated, self-reliant, and able to work with little supervision.
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent teamwork, coordination, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Must have an outstanding driving record and ability to operate a company provided or rental vehicle.

Education & Qualifications Preferred:

• 0-3 years of relevant field service.
• Ability to adhere to healthcare facility access requirements including but not limited to ensuring all necessary
immunizations are received, and the proper trainings are accomplished and maintained for record.
• Experience with highly sensitive customer interactions and an understanding of the importance of customer relations.
• Ability to interpret service bulletins, user manuals, and other technical manuals, drawings, etc.
• Experience using power and hand tools.
• Bachelor's degree in technical field.

Work Location: Field-based

Compensation Grade: 7

Travel Percentage: Field based with some overnight stays expected
