This role will lead the setup and continuous development of a robust 3PL management system in Malaysia, managing 3PLs and interfacing with Commercial and other functional teams with the objective to optimize the utilization of working capital and increase service levels for customers. This role will also play a critical part in management of short term & long term consignment kits and drive efficiency & accuracy of the process with 3PL.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and collaborate with the Order Management team to enhance the Order-to-Cash ("OTC") process flow and ultimately drive the optimal cost-to-serve model. You will also partner with the Planning team to monitor inventory levels for stock allocation and fulfilment, and to provide timely responses to customers' enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the change agent in leading & fine-tuning the 3PL management process including kit management, achieving this through a close working relationship with Order Management, Commercial and other functional teams.
  • Be the primary contact for regular reviews with 3PLs to drive and improve performance quality.
  • Own the physical inventory control together with 3PL and maintain high inventory accuracy & minimize any stock variance
  • Work as a team with Order Management to define the relevant master data setup in internal systems to ensure the end-to-end process efficiency.
  • Own and drive functional improvements through root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Work with IT to deploy systems and tool strategies. to simplify & automate processes
  • Define and analyze operational KPIs, and develop improvement strategies and plans with Operations Manager.
  • Triage and resolve any issues or customer complaints based on process and data analytics
  • Support Operations Manager and Supply Chain leaders in driving down the total Variable Manufacturing Cost.
  • Support the implementation of the Corporate and East Asia supply chain structure and objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related fields
  • 6 to 8 years working experience in 3PL management in MNC commercial settings. Experience in the Medical Device industry is an added advantage.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English to communicate with different stakeholders in the process.
  • Excellent data processing and analytical skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong negotiation & influencing skills.
  • Confidence and flair in managing stakeholder expectations and lead discussions.
  • Project management experience is preferable
  • JDE / SAP implementation experience a strong plus.
