Director, Demand Generation

Who You Are:

We are seeking a Director of Demand Generation to drive demand and lead the pipeline and growth engine for Storyblocks’ go-to-market team. It is an exciting time to join the team as we build out the growth function. This is a managerial position and reports to the CMO.

This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and deliver marketing’s contribution to sales pipeline and bookings
  • Partner closely with the sales organization, especially the SDR team 
  • Ensure all leads are followed up on and all marketing programs are successful through pipeline and bookings impact 
  • Drive our monthly webinar program
  • Expand and optimize our nurture email programs 
  • Drive the new account-based marketing strategy and program, and our ad strategy for B2B campaigns
  • Own and improve our product-qualified funnel
  • Measure and improve conversion rates throughout the funnel
  • Drive quarterly campaign theme development and execution to drive higher results for our sales-assisted and eCommerce businesses 
  • Own the bottoms-up pipeline model: define, execute, and optimize the quarterly program mix that achieves our top-line goals
  • Drive web landing page creation and web optimizations that maximize using storyblocks.com as a demand engine
  • Drive conversion rate optimization on business web pages and partner with the product and eCommerce teams to contribute to testing opportunities across the website
  • Partner closely with the product team to support customer lifecycle nurture programs
  • Lead small team of demand and growth experts

What You Bring to the Table: 

  • 8-10 years experience in B2B demand generation 
  • 3-5 years of team leadership experience
  • Has owned and delivered B2B SaaS pipeline at or above company targets
  • Can show multiple examples of successful campaigns that delivered pipeline and bookings
  • Strong digital campaign capabilities including ads and website
  • Account-based marketing and sales experience
  • Fiscal responsibility with program budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • SaaS business model experience
  • Startup / growth-stage company experience
  • Working knowledge of modern tech stack tools: Salesforce, Hubspot, Gong, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Mode
  • Collaborative, team player, player-coach mentality 

What We Bring to the Table:

  • Competitive and fair compensation: We believe in fair pay--equal pay for equal work. For each title, we consistently apply competitive salary bands based on market data and benchmarks which are reviewed twice a year. What you’ve been paid before, fear of conflict, or willingness to negotiate does not play a part in determining your pay.
    • The annual base salary range for this position is $187,000 - $209,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.
  • 401(k) retirement plan: We offer both a Traditional and Roth 401(k) with a company match.

Typically, employees take about three or four weeks each year. Plus, two company-wide week breaks in July and December as well as numerous Fridays off throughout the year to take advantage of 3-day weekends.
